WHEN YOUR HERO FALLS

When your hero falls from grace all fairy tales are uncovered. Myths exposed and pain magnified the greatest pain discovered.

You taught me to be strong, but I'm confused to see you so weak. You said never to give up and it hurts to see you welcome defeat.

When your hero falls so do the stars and so does the perception of tomorrow. Without my hero there is only me alone to deal with my sorrow.

Your heart ceases to work and your soul is not happy at all. What are you expected to do when your only hero falls?

I CRY

Sometime when I'm alone I Cry, Cause I am on my own. The tears I cry are bitter and warm. They flow with life but take no form. I Cry because my heart is torn. I find it difficult to carry on. If I had an ear to confide in I would Cry among my treasured friend But who do you know that would stop that long, To help another carry on. The world moves fast and it would rather pass by. Then to stop and see what makes one cry, So painful and sad. And sometimes… I CRY And no one cares about why.

My Journey Through Your Depths

I've seen the sun kiss the ocean and its radiance shine through with such force That its magnificent light provides a way for a ship to stay on the correct course Our relationship can be compared to this because your light's course is what leads me To my destination, which is your heart and everything else is dark and I can't see So I will continue to keep on this path for there is nowhere else in the world so amazing I proudly search for your love and will serve it forever like a young slave in training Even if this journey last forever I will carry on with my search past the end of time Because I don't think it's fair for me to be without a heart for long ago, you stole mine Many days have waved bye and I have yet seen any creation amounting to your beauty Or your Kindness or your Smile or your Sexiness which could be the star in any movie I don't have compass for your sweet birdlike voice makes sure that I don't stray from you.

So astounded I am by your actions and words and I'm proud at all the things that you do Each morning that my eyes turn darkness into light I think of you and it always seems That I am now sleep walking when I'm awake for I swear you were just in my dreams Your childlike humor makes me push harder to really get to know you all the more Because I know that when I see your angelic face it will be far more than I wished for Time is no longer a factor because it makes me see that the time is getting close for us For me to be with you, the person that I want to know, love, learn from, and trust Until that day, hopefully I do not die from not a broken heart, but from having none at all.

I'll look till I obtain your love and Mrs. Southpole is what you for sure will be called Through troublesome storms, through rough ragged waves, I'll forever press on Passed me having anymore strength, anymore tears, and all my hope is now gone But to fail is not my mission and it's not an option because I will acquire your love And when I reach that goal I will exclaim it to the fish below and to the angels above.

My Poems

This poetry thing is becoming soft everyone's just listening to rap I've done poems about every person you see on the map A few of my poems are about love and some about being black My poems have played a major role in my life and had a huge impact Not used to put down anyone but to get them to change for humanity There was no down grading of anybody or names said for defamity I want my children to grow up in a world pf peace and not insanity I've written thirty or more poems and not one will you see profanity My poetry is not to be sold but it is there for all to read and hear I've wrote poems that are funny and some make you bleed tears I've written about my likes and dislikes, shown my troubles and fears I'd want to let my poetry die but someone would always yell, "CLEAR!" So then I continued writing and it became stronger like words we vegetables I never tried to show-off with it but everyone else made it a spectacle People would tell me to change my writing but the words were already legible I made them respectable and when I put words together they'd say, "Your INKreadible" Now people are trying to make since of my poems and none of it is fake Making words that rhyme or sound alike and the stories I'd make Were loved by you and I'm thankful that you all that they were great I was so honest that my poems make people think twice like a double take I remember numerous poems I wrote where tears fled down my head And I hope people really reflected back on the words that they read I figure people would change if they figured out the words I said Now people are eating them up and I'm gonna stay cooking till all are fed.
