ONE NIGHT ONLY: The extravaganza I've been working on with Sid Gilbert (evil mastermind of The Jickets), a revue of the music of 1967, will be staged Sunday 6/22 at Fontana's (105 Eldridge, bet. Grand & Broome). I'm playing guitar, Kai Eric is on bass, Kjeld on drums. Nicole Stephonic is doing most of the vocals, so there's a lot of Dusty Springfield/Nancy Sinatra/Petula Clark-type stuff. Other guest singers, too. A 7:30 set and a 9:30 set, with comedian David Birnbaum in between. I think it'll just be $5 at the door. Definitely going to be a trip. Hope you can make it.
