    Portland’s Pink Noise are three clearly insane boys who unapologetically dress like androgynous refugees from a 1980s Flock of Seagulls or Depeche Mode video, traffic in New Wave synth-pop and create some pretty catchy music as well as put on a show you simply have to watch. They understand what all those tough rocker guys who hated synth-pop never understood in the ’80s – you can drown in melody and thumping beat when listening to it and don’t have to give a damn about anything else, like how cool you are for liking that guitar solo. Of course, colored lights, fog, and ear candy aren’t everyone’s cup of absinthe, but if you just want to let your inhibitions go and dance the night away, Pink Noise is your band. -Portland Tribune
