Biografia: I Pinkover nascono ufficialmente a Trieste nel 2003 per volontà del chitarrista e cantante Federico Mreule e del bassista Lorenzo Vidi.
I Pinkover si sono esibiti in molti concerti in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto, Toscana e Campania, dove propongono, in base al posto e disponibilità tecniche, 3 spettacoli distinti.
Lo spettacolo principale (a cui vengono aggiunte 3 coriste e un sax) prevede l'esecuzione del repertorio con pezzi scelti dal periodo 1973-1994, dove viene eseguito l'album "Dark Side Of The Moon" per intero assieme ad altre canzoni tratte da "Wish You Were Here", "The Wall, "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" e "The Division Bell". Questo spettacolo prevede, oltre alla fedele riproduzione dei suoni originali, anche proiezioni video sul cerchio a traliccio con 20 proiettori Par 64, 4 teste mobili e schermo di nostra proprietà, così da ricreare in maniera precisa le atmosfere dei live dei Pink Floyd originali.
In alternativa il gruppo può esibirsi in formazione ridotta (4 elementi), dove esegue uno spettacolo con brani scelti esclusivamente dal periodo 1967-1972, dove spicca l'esecuzione del "Live at Pompeii" o "Ummagumma" suonati per intero. Anche durante questo spettacolo la band utilizza solo ed esclusivamente strumentazione dell'epoca, tra cui gli organi Farfisa Compact Duo e Hammond M102 (lo stesso di Richard Wright ai tempi di Pompeii), le unità eco Binson Echorec 2, amplificatori Hiwatt, microfoni Sennheiser MD409, Gong e casse Wem. Da poco il gruppo è entrato in possesso di un impianto PA WEM, gli unici tra tutte le tribute band italiane, composto da 8 casse 2x15", 4 casse 2x12”, 4 casse 4x10” e un set di trombe per i medio alti, lo stesso modello di impianto usato dai Pink Floyd nel 1970 (si può vedere lo stesso identico impianto PA nel film "Live At San Tropez"), tutto pilotato da finali WEM originali.
Recentemente i Pinkover hanno allestito un terzo spettacolo incentrato esclusivamente sul periodo 1973-1979, dove viene eseguito l'intero album “Animals” e pezzi tratti da "The Dark Side Of The Moon", "Wish You Were Here" e “The Wall”.
Anche durante questi show vengono utilizzati proiettori e luci per meglio coinvolgere gli spettatori e rendere lo spettacolo fedele ed emozionante.

Biography: The Pinkover project was officially born in February 2003 when 2 old time friends, Federico Mreule (guitarist and singer) and Lorenzo Vidi (bass player) decided to form a band capable of recreating the sound and feelings of Pink Floyd.
Currently the band performs 3 separate shows, according to the place and the technical availabilities.
The main show foresees the execution of songs from the period 1973-1994. It’s particularly interesting the execution of the complete "Dark Side Of The Moon" album together with other songs from "Wish You Were Here", "The Wall, A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" and "The Division Bell." This show includes, along with the faithful reproduction of the original sounds, also projection videos on our 4 metres circular screen (that includes 20 Par 64 and 4 moving lights projectors) and lights, in order to recreate the atmospheres of the original Pink Floyd live performances.
In alternative the band can perform in reduced ensemble (4 band members), where it exclusively plays a show with selected songs from the 1967-1972 era, with the complete execution of the "Live at Pompeii" or "Ummagumma" albums. During this show the band uses only and exclusively vintage instruments of the era, such as the Farfisa Compact Duo and Hammond M102 organs (the same played by Richard Wright in the Pompeii movie), Binson Echorec 2 echo units, Hiwatt amplifiers, Sennheiser MD409 mics, a 36” Chinese Gong and Wem cabinets. Recently the band has acquired an original 1970’s WEM PA system, the only ones among all the Italian tribute bands, made up of 8 2x15", 4 2x12”, 4 4x10” speaker cabinets and a set of WEM horn cabinets, the same model used by Pink Floyd in 1970 (you can see an identical PA in the "Live At San Tropez" movie). Everything is driven by a set of original WEM PA amplifiers.
These days the band has created a third show (1973-1979 era) where they play the “Animals” complete album, along with selected songs from "The Dark Side Of The Moon", "Wish You Were Here" and “The Wall” albums.
Projectors and lights are used during the performances in order to better involve the public, making it a real and unique experience.

Thanx 4 the add, nothing beats Floyd in my book. In fact I was an old drummer for Crazy Diamond in Chicago almost 5 years ago before a bad accident put me in a wheelchair. Rock on guys.
