Precise Instinct Music
Officially, starting in 1990 Precise Instinct had many underground recordings. Like No Guarantess , The Pressure to Excel, Mikes Get Ripped, Hollar We Hotter ect. A lot of these songs did not Get the play they deserved on commercial radio, however you could have heard these songs on college Radio like Morgan State U in Baltimore or UMBC in Baltimore County. After Moving to Atlanta Georgia in “97” Double Cee the creator of Precise Instinct found himself trying to network with some of the Atlanta scene. In fact some of his favorite hangouts were the Wu- Wear shop that was On Peachtree Blvd not to far from Eric Sermon’s rim shop. Club Esso’s downtown on Courtland Ave all my ATL folk know what it is. However, it wasn’t until going overseas and being on tour did he see his own talents explode. After meeting and establishing friendships with a few German Artist and entrepreneurs he was able to have himself added to the Malik Tour. Malik was a upcoming German rapper that lived in Manhiem. The label’s creator Martin Motzek Had meet Double Cee through a mutual friend. Recognizing Double Cee’s flair for creativity, Malik and Double Cee wrote a song together called Chance Meeting which was included in Malik’s stage show performances. It was a success they performed this song in every performance on the 7 city tour in “2001.”As the tour ended Double Cee had to rectify business in the USA. So he decided to move back there but of course keep in touch with the label and label mate Malik. Malik was still of course in the mist of pushing his music to prepare for a album release. When Double Cee got back to his native Maryland he quickly readied himself to travel out West to Las Cruces, New Mexico. Out there he had a trusted friend that was supportive of his music. It was not until moving to Tampa, Florida when Double Cee really was able to focus on Music Production from a producer’s stand point officially. He always had great insight and understanding when recording or creating music but enrolling In a school for the arts like IADT helped to expose him to the art knowing how to operate Studio equipment to make it give you the sound you want. Double Cee fell in love with Reason and Protools and its been a perfect union every since. In learning these arts it was a gift to him because Precise Instinct is all about creativity and keeping the content fresh. Definitly, reflective of society however adding a view that may be a little different than most. This was also the inspiration to coming up with the name MINDFACTORY for his lable. In 2006 Double Cee released The Mason Dixon Line Project under MINDFACTORY the name of his own Indie lable. You can go to Itunes, Rhapardody, cdbaby ect. to find it. Precise Instinct has certainly been paying dues and buying other artist work for years so you know what they say what comes around goes around…that would be great in this case!!
