My name is Neal Pinto. I am a Canadian singer/songwriter currently based out of Winnipeg, MB. I perform as a solo artist on guitar and electric-piano. Sometimes, I'll kick it up with a band. The style of music is rock/pop that is influenced by people like Ben Harper, Duncan Sheik, and Peter Gabriel.
I also moonlight as a composer/producer and session musician in other genres such as R&B, hip-hop, world music and occasionally instrumental filmscore. Soon, I plan to put up a new MySpace with samples of the work that I've done in those areas.
But for now:
I'm excited to have finally put out my new CD on June 1st, 2007 - an EP titled "21:21". On the musical side of my hectic life, this little creation is finally the start of something very meaningful to me. It really feels like it's a release of more than just a CD. A couple of tracks are up here on MySpace for you to check out - "Lying" and "What Are We Doing Here?".
