About me: This site is in concert with PioneerTroubadours.com and the DVD project that tells the story of some of the great Pioneers in the Music Business. We kick off the show with Buck Page, Norm Stephens, Ramblin' Jack Elliott, Sonny Curtis, Les Paul,Kris Kristofferson, Diamond Dave Somerville ,Marty Stewart and some others, who will join the project down the road...We pay tribute to Jimmie Rodgers, Lefty Frizzell, Buddy Holly, Wood Guthrie and some other greats as the Pioneer Troubadours tell a great musical Saga.
The Saga started with a performance by Buck, Sonny, Norm and Ramblin' Jack at Eric Clapton's CROSSROAD GUITAR FESTIVAL in Dallas, Texas. See some great video and pictures from the show at www.Pioneertroubadours.com.
To add to the Saga we have some great stories about the road and footage from the Bob Dylan and Merle Haggard tour I was so lucky to be a on with my camera in hand. We in fact are using Merle Haggard's "Troubadour" as the DVD theme song.
