Bio:

For more than eight years Piquant! has been creating a unique sound in the North Country of New York. Piquant!’s music evokes a “Bistro” atmosphere with spicy flavors from Latin dance styles such as the Tango, Rumba, Cha-cha and Samba. They also explore the sweet tones of French Musette and add a touch of swing. Piquant! is the house band for the popular dance series,Tango with Todd. The love of playing for dancers continues to inspire Piquant! to add many original dance tunes to their repertoire keeping their music spontaneous and fun! Piquant! has performed for the Sackets Harbor Summer Concert Series, First Night in Saranac Lake, NY and the Norwood Village Green Summer Concert Series, and were the guest band for North Country Public Radio’s monthly arts magazine, Open Studio. Make your occasion an event to remember! Piquant! is available for performance, parties, dances, and workshops.
