Welcome Foolish Mortals to PirateMunkee's Official Fan Page. So what would you like to know about me? Well, I'm an artist who's artwork is displayed in a couple of Galleries in Santa Cruz (Capitola Jewelers and Gallery Del Mar). More of my art is displayed in my Pics section and all pieces are up for sale. Just contact me and we'll talk. . I also work at the Happiest Place on Earth, Disneyland. Working Disneyland is more than just a job, it's more of a dream come true. I work Fantasyland Attractions in Classics (Snow White, Pinocchio, King Arthur's Carousel, Casey Jr., Dumbo, Peter Pan, Mr. Toad, Tea Cups, and Alice in Wonderland_, The Matterhorn, and Toon Town (Roger Rabbit, Gadget's Go Coaster, and Mickey's Theater). Working Fantasyland is great because it was Walt's favorite place in the entire park. . Working Disneyland is also family tradition per se. My grandfather helped build the park when he was with the carpenter's Union and my father was head of the Art Dept. in the 60's. He did some of the conceptual artwork for Cruella DeVil and designed the MacDonald/Douglas Pavilion that used to be in Tomorrowland. My father knew Walt Disney personally and knowing all the personal stories of Walt just made him more of a hero to me. . I am also into Paranormal Investigating. Been interested in the Paranormal ever since living in a home full of Poltergeist activity when I was younger. Seeing stuff move on it's own accord and lights turn themselves off and on right in front of you sort of makes you wonder if there truly is something out there. I've had quite a few paranormal experiences in my life and had numerous since working Disneyland. Makes working the park so much more exciting for me and truly magical. There is just something so cool about walking an attraction after everything has been powered down and nobody in it and hearing a little child's giggle follow you throughout your walk through. What makes it even cooler is when the laughter gets louder when you turn to find where the giggling is coming from and you don't see anyone there. Just like a child playing hide and go seek. Ok, so I get a rush where others fear to tread. . The guys from TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society as seen on Sci-Fi's Ghosthunters) are my heroes as well as others who venture to learn more of that unseen realm. . I'm also into Pirates. Come to find out that I'm related to an actual Pirate who used to be on Blackbeard's crew.I knew all that family research I did as a Mormon would pay off. So piracy runs in my veins...LITERALLY. Explains alot about my naturally affinity towards rebelling. . Also I am an ex Mormon. Why an EX Mormon? Just read the above statement. Rebelling....Uh Hello. Sheesh no wonder I'm going to Hell. I was Mormon for 10 years having served a Mission in the Honduras Tegucigalpa Mission before getting injured and reassigned to the New Jersey Morristown Mission. I can honestly say that these times were the best times in my life because it was the first time I actually did a real soul search and discovered who I really was. I left the church on my own accord and became Catholic to understand what my wife and my father believed in. . As of now, I'm pretty much anti-religion. Not anti-God mind you but anti-religion. I feel that religion is the main reason this world is so messed up. . Ok, so that's just a little summary of me. Pretty Scary huh?
