Founded in 1999 the band PIRE has its origins in the 3-State border region of Switzerland, France and Germany. PIRE has succeeded with perfection to musically fuse rock from the last decade into an explosive cocktail.
At the turn of a hat, this band can gearshift from energetic-to-sad-to-raging-to-eerie, with lyrics coming at you in English and French.
With Thiebaut Rondeau on vocals and guitar, Pascal Mazon on bass, Laurent Huck on guitar and Ludovic Brun on vocals and drums, this band will appeal to all who like explosive rock, distortions, edgy choruses and human warmth. Recorded at BASELCIYSTUDIO (CH) between August 2005 and February 2006, this musical piece is the logical product of a demo first recorded in 2004 that paved the way for performances at numerous trans-frontal club and festivals like . In two years, PIRE has soared to the ranks of the best regional acts(Bscene 05/07;Montreux Jazz Festival;La Laiterie Strasburg;Rohstofflager Zürich...;) infecting the public with its emotions and transmitting its energy through music that knows no borders.
PIRE has just released their second album titled "Victorious Disorder" recorded by Peter BORFOÏ (Shabani and the Burning Birds) at BASELCITYSTUDIOS, this record will probably appear under the label Sergent Major Company.
