PIREX has slowly developed over the last 11 years from a predominantly-female-fronted-straight ahead-hardcore-punk band into... well, whatever we are now. We like to play shows...a lot....maybe more than we should like it. If you do shows and are down, drop us a line. We like to meet new people and play new places. Wow...our bio is pretty fucking light for 11 years as a band....but I guess instead of galavanting around the world, online-name-dropping like a motherfucker, and embellishing the fuck out of everything we could possibly say about the band's experience, we have pretty much kept this a local phenomena, enjoying many years of shows close to home and frequent, long, fun practices. We actually do have a strong work ethic (ask around), and are increasingly enjoying doing shows farther away. Look for us, ask for us, talk to us. We want to come to your town.
