Formed by Bill and Styg out of boredom and sheer desperation at the turn of the
century, the soundwaves of pistol mob was still a couple of years
from hitting the eardrums of others than the two founding members. After a slow
start with mixing and blending the ingredients that would form the sound and
attitude of "the greatest band in Gothenburg" things started to move...
One drunken night a ghost from the past turned up on Bills doorstep. There was
Spice with hellfire burning in his in his eyes and a firm grip around his old
guitar. This was the kick in the balls that the band needed to get out of the old
castle on the hill and on to stage and into people's hearts.
In feb 2006 the mob made their stage debut on the ballroom stage in gothenburg.
Many claim their presence and those that really were have forever the image of
three desperate, aggrivated and determined punks inprinted in their memory.
The songs were short and fast and the audience were stomping their feet and
singing along like drunken cavemen.
A few more gigs followed,the band was featured in magazines and radio.
A few songs were floating around and a now legendary demo was recorded, but only a
handful of people knew of it's existence...some say the world was not yet ready
for the forces it would unleash.
As time went by it became evident that the band needed more guns to get their
message across. And so Timmy got onboard the battleship with his possessed fingers
that makes every single string on his guitar beg for mercy.
And then they were four...

To help spreading their music of self deprivation, self loathing and utter apathy
the Mob joined forces with punk/garage label Alleycat Records in early 2008.
Now nothing lies between the Mob and the world...everything is up for
grabs...light your torches, load your pistols and JOIN THE MOB!
