Bruno Pita, 29, had his first experience in the music scene as the percussionist of a reggae band in 1999, in Minas Gerais-Brazil. Having been fascinated about technology since the age of 11, in 2000 moved to Rio de Janeiro, where he had the chance to study the whole new world of possibilities digital music could offer. He started then as a DJ in the progressive house scene.
In 2003, he developed his first project, Audio Factory (Tropical Beats), playing Progressive House, later having 5 songs labeled by Morrisons Recordings, Iboga, Tropical Beats and Tupan Records. Three years later, in partnership with TechSystem ( Tropical Beats ), he started his other project Komplexer, of Electro House, which played in several of the top clubs in Rio, such as: Pátio Lounge, 69, Casarão Cultural da Lapa, Armazém do Cais do Porto, Bunker, Euphoria (Teresópolis), Maresias (SP), Base (RJ), always in exchange of musical experiences with respected names, like Trentmoller, Gas James, Antix, Joke etc.
After considerable partnerships, Bruno releases his solo project, PitaMidi, which had always been his parallel project, throwing a modern LIVE, rich in beats and depth, what he calls the “Brazilian Minimalist Music” (minimal electro & techno).
