The whole manchester scene back in the early 90's. anything and everything that makes you tap your feet in sympathy orreally gives you the 'wow' factor, there are far to many to list to be fair.
Pitbulljones combines laidback synth-work with hooky drums and eerie guitar lines. Reminiscent of Mogwai, Sigur Ros, Tom Waits and Massive Attack, his music is pleasingly lo-fi-ish,melancholic, atmospheric and authentic.
He sharpens the edges just when the song starts washing over you, so that it sticks to the mind and from there chops its way to the vital organs.
Recommended listens: any song. Well, probably Flounder.
I hope all is well and good and I just wanted to let you know I've just put up a new track called ECHO so I thought you might want to have a listen. :o) It's just the instrumental version I did not long ago but I do have a full section of vocal to arrange into this track so I'll keep you posted on the outcome! :o)

nice keyboard that comes in in the middle, reminds me of the music in this game called Knytt Stories where this little pixel girl has to solve puzzles in this huge dreamy looking pixel world. good stuff pitbulljones
