In a flurry of insulin, loud feedback and questionable road safety stride forth Pitch Invasion, purveyors of soundscapes ranging from angular riffage to ambient melodies, all topped off with sweeping synths and electronics, Pitch Invasion are saviours to all those who harbour unadulterated dissatisfaction for the hordes of identikit indie bands currently residing in our musical headspace. Pitch Invasion - undoubtedly the greatest thing to come out of the general Brighton area since Wisden's Cricketer's Almanack was founded here way back in 1864. The band's first studio effort, simply titled 'EP', is finally finished and available for streaming in its entirety right here. A massive thanks to Dan Beesley who recorded and mixed the the record. Temporary separation due to holidays and homelessness has caused a brief hiatus of live Pitch Invasion activity but expect to see shows in a month or so. |
