    To encourage dialogue, promote media literacy, provide a platform for free speech and build a stronger community through training and by providing local citizens and non-profit organizations with the tools to produce and broadcast programs from their own unique perspectives.

About me:

Pittsburgh Community Television is a public access station that provides the opportunity for city of Pittsburgh residents and city-based non-profit organizations to produce non-commercial television programming for air on Comcast's channel 21. The programming on PCTV is limited only by the imagination of the people who create it.

We offer workshops to provide information on how you can become a PCTV producer/volunteer and to teach production techniques. Visit our website for a full list of workshops and for the worskhop schedule.

"501c3 Live", a live one-hour call-in show, is one of the means through which PCTV provides services to other non-profit organizations in the Pittsburgh community. For information on how to spread the word about your non-profit on television, visit our "501c3 Live" page on our website.
