.. .... .. .. .. A short lived San Diego band, PIVIT, was founded by the original drummer Mark Mclemore, lead singer Chris Moore and guitarist Eric. Started in late 1994, it was formed in Carlsbad and Encinitas. .. .. Recorded demo "Find the Fuzz" in 1995. Recorded "Pressure" in 1996. .. .. We opened for such bands as Blink 182, Incubus, MXPX, Buck-O-Nine, Sack Lunch, Pennywise, Unwritten Law, Mad Caddies, and many local San Diego bands. .. .. This CD is a classic example of why San Diego is the head of the major punk scene. With bands like Pivit releasing CD's that flow as smoothly and solidly as this CD does, San Diego shall remain a focal point in determining the future of punk. This CD starts off with an incredible song in Tell Me, which will get you in the mood to sit down and hear the rest of the album. After several other amazing songs, along comes Haingnail, a mix of punk and a slow mellow beat that will leave you singing it in your head for days. The music of "Pressure" will truly blow you away. .. .. This web page started because theres no fansite about Pivit on the Internet. It's a tragedy, this band had a chance to be enormous with an overwhelming amount of fans; their music is something close to perfect. Not so hard, not so soft, good sound effects, pleasant melody, good text etc. Pivit was liked by listeners of punkrock, but also another genres. Unfortunately, ever since their drummer, Mark, was teamed up against and kicked out they slowly went downhill, losing a good amount of their following in the San Diego area. A sad tragedy for PIVIT, but their album "Pressure" will always live on here in San Diego. .. .. .. .. .... .. .. ..

A short lived San Diego band, PIVIT, was founded by the original drummer Mark Mclemore, lead singer Chris Moore and guitarist Eric. Started in late 1994, it was formed in Carlsbad and Encinitas.
