PIVIXKI is the new project from pianist Anthony Pateras & drummer Max Kohane, fusing breakneck pianistic density with virtuosic grind drumming.
Pateras is something of a musical chameleon, releasing experimental concert works on Tzadik, electro-acoustic brutality with Robin Fox on Editions Mego and performing regularly in his renowned trio Pateras/Baxter/Brown. Kohane is an Australian grind drumming savant, currently playing with Agents of Abhorrence, Brain Children and producing hip-hop under the name CRUMBZ.
PIVIXKI released their debut self-titled record on Sabbatical in August and just completed a successful tour of Europe in October with Robin Fox and Antoine Chessex.
