My name is Shannon Cole and I’m the owner of Pixels 4 Kindness! I’m really excited about this site.

You’re probably wondering what Pixels 4 Kindness is all about.

Everyday I see individuals and families trying to raise money to help someone in need. Either a young child has a terminal illness and needs major surgery, a school is trying to raise money for a worthwhile cause, or a family’s home burns down and they are left homeless. Trying to raise this money can be very difficult, especially when you live in a small place.

That’s where I’m hoping Pixels 4 Kindness can help. How the site works is individuals or businesses would purchase advertising space (ie pixels) to advertise their site, blog, business, etc. Once enough advertising space is sold, the money is given to the cause in need.

Although I would like to donate 100% of the money, I’m will need to keep a small percentage of the sale to cover my own business expenses (hosting, domain, advertising, office, supplies, affiliates, and other normal business expenses). So, I’m trying to come up with the best percentage to donate and I decided to donate 80%. This means that for every dollar spent on pixels $0.80 of that is donated to the cause. I felt this number was fair. The remaining 20% should be enough to cover my expenses.

You might be asking why you should buy pixels on this site when you can just donate the money yourself. Well, I can’t really answer that, but I can tell you that there are a number of benefits of using this site. Especially if you own your own site or business.
