I was a beat JunkiE extrordinaire. I was losing my passion/excitement for music then a wonderful friend showed me that all country music is not Shania Twain-like shit. So yeah, been on the Hank Williams, Johnny Cash train for awhile now. The more I started to fall into pin up, the harder I tried to 'stay away from' rockabilly/psychobilly. I dont' like to be cliche. But the music is so dogdamned good!!! And while I have always lamented at the lack of cool music in my upbringing (no Beatles, no the Doors, no Pink Floyd, no Led Zepplin, etc). Then I realized that the 'Stand by Me' would definitely be the album of my childhood. So I've been a rockabilly girl at heart all my life and didn't even know it. Now addding the psycho to it, well that's got me written all over it!
Ha! I didn't even realize it till now, but a bunch of tattoos i've always wanted are straight from that era -tha birds and the black panthr. Oooo, I'm cool now. ;P

No, sweetie, acutaully I haven't...Been goin' through a lot of major life changes as of late...Split w/ my gal, & then just as soon as I'm officially single again I busted my teeth @ the 3 Bad Jacks show...so now I'm Single & ugly...It will be a real happy father's day this year..But not to worry, I'll make sure everything is taken care of next year despite insurance that I don't have....I think we'll be holding an event on July 31st 2009 to fix ma grill if I don't have the $ by then...Keep doing what you do, Sammy! Pop will be joined by Professor Dave Bourne and the Medicine Show Band, Rob Zabrecky, Sophie Evans, Antonio Hoyos, Phil Van Tee and Pop's Candy Girls for a wonderful show of Old Time Music, magic, comedy and variety.
