a girl from new york making her music in belfast. it's deep. it's real. dark and melodic.
"if there is one example of why immigration to our little corner of the earth should be welcomed instead of opposed, Saytar is it. Hailing from New York, this Across the Line favourite moved to Belfast, bringing with her a great voice and some great tunes. The set is all electrified, with her backing band providing some depth to Saytar's guitar and lone vocals. There's a feeling that tonight's crowd are really digging what she does. Interlude and These Dead Hands are stand out tracks. It's not Jeff Buckley, but it's not far off. Watch this space." - BBC, Across the Line review. March 2007
"Pixie has found a core group of musicians who respect the songs and are able to supply some cool dynamics. It never crowds the work, but the melodies are rising nicely and those savvy drum accents are just the thing." - BBC, Across the line review by Stuart Bailie. April 2007
"The White Book" - Debut 10 track album OUT NOW! £10.00
Sonic Boom Six return with their third album City of Thieves, the fifth record to be released on their own Rebel Alliance Recordings. Whilst SB6's eclectic punk soundclash staunchly remains far too down-to-earth to ever being described as ‘prog', the album follows the concept of a collection of songs that explore and examine life in a large UK city.
The Luchagors are a DIY punk band from Atlanta, Georgia who are fronted by Amy Dumas. You might recognise Amy, she wrestled as Lita in the WWE. Amy was an influential force in women's wrestling in ECW and the WWE over the past decade.

A big thanks to LUCKY 7, JOHNNY FERGUSON and OSSY, our November guests... and ALL of you who made it down on the night once again... the music was top drawer all night from start to finish....
DECEMBER only means one thing....
KALEIDAsexMAS PARTY... and with it being xmas we have a nice little audible treat for each of you in the form of a very special mix from our December guest PACO BLACK....
We are also very pleased to have NIK MUZKA playing a rare mix of all things techno on the night too... Nik has been a main player in the Belfast music scene for almost a decade, sharpening his teeth at the infamous ARTS COLLEGE before moving on to run many successful solo projects. During the day nik can be found behind the counter at Mixmaster Records and teaching at Sonic Dj Academy. Nik makes, plays, sells and teaches music. MUSIC IS HIS LIFE...
THE 4th LOOP - LiVE will also play on the night... Made up of STEVE LAW and KATRINA O'KANE (mar'08 guest) were really looking forward to having our very first fully live set played at the night. Their strict policy of 'just loops, no tracks' is something that we here at Kaleida HQ really can't wait to witness.... BRING ON THE RAYVE!
"This record is pure instinct with no attention paid to belonging. It is raw intellect and emotion. The Present is indeed both GIFT and NOW. Open you ears and your mind will follow. God Bless this record for teaching me that." - Brian DeGraw, Gang Gang Dance
Glad to see your playing again. Was trying to get to your pavillion show last week, but I'm a no gooder...
We're (Boathouse) are doing a thing called 'Scratch My Demo' this tuesday at 7:30pm. If your free, twould be great if you could come down. We need people who are willing to give us advice and feedback. We'll be playing some spanking new tunes for some beatings.
Just letting you know about a little baptism of music we're having this Thursday 13th Nov in McHughs bar Belfast. We're launching our self-titled EP and there’s great support coming from Tom McShane and Joe Echo! Would be great to see you there lots of hugs Ciara
