  • Music

okay I can honestly say that I like all types of music and that it varies from day to day and mood to mood. If a song has powerful meaningful lyrics behind it then 9 times out of 10 I will enjoy it. I am a true lyrics person.
  • Movies

All time favorite is Breakfast At Tiffany's, I loved Goonies as a kid and I like all of the Harry Potter movies. I also love movies that make you think and that can make you cry...I really liked Catch and Release and aside from it making me cry it really made me want to pack up and move to Colorado.
  • Television

I love Top Chef, Project Runway, most things on the DIY channel, and then Fox5 for news.
  • Books

I love books and especially hard back books because they smell so good and there is just something really cool about reading a good hard back.
  • Heroes

Anyone who doesn't compromise their true self to accomplish their dreams. People who feel the need and urge to pay it forward, the world would be so much better if everyone would take on this philosophy. Anyone who gives back to make for a better tomorrow.

About me:

..whateverlife was here wl15.. I am 28 soon to be 29 and I have a daughter, son and another daugther. I have stayed at home with the little ones for the past 5 years and they have taught me so much about so many things. I write and paint but I haven't been good at keeping up with them with three little ones at my feet and hardly any time to myself. I have picked up the art of sewing and love to make dresses along with custom baby blankets that I sell. I have enjoyed reading a little more and a good book truly is a great escape. It may be the only way to travel to some of the far off lands that I would like to visit. I make cakes and on top of them being really pretty they are all really tasty too! I started doing that for Ella's first birthday and have vowed that my kids will always have a cake that their Mom makes for them. I have also become a bit of a culinary whiz and enjoy cooking for people and entertaining. I should probably start a cupcake or dinner making company. A lot of people say that I have one foot in yesterday and one foot in the future and somehow piss all over today :) I listen to my heart over my brain and I think that has gotten me into more trouble than doing it vice versa, but I know that I don't have regrets and I have learned many a valuable lesson from following my heart. I love to travel and my mission in life is to get to all of the 50 states and see some of my family in Ireland. I am in the progress of getting my back tattoo finished (i have been for the past 4 years but babies and nursing don't really blend to well with tattoos). I have some really awesome friends and miss some friends that I have lost touch with. I think that life brings people into our worlds like tides hitting the shore...sometimes their stay may be short and sweet and other times they may be the one true constant in your life. The beauty of it all really is the fact that we all impact each other and a day doesn't go by that we don't think of those people who helped shape who we are today.

Who I'd like to meet:

Audrey Hepburn, all of the great artist that paved the way for art today, Sylvia Plath, Dalai Lama, Elizabeth Gilbert, Anne Rice, some old friends, free thinkers, people who are passionate in all that they do, and my Grandfather and Sammy one last time so I could really tell them how much they meant to me and so they could see how amazing their grand-children / god-children are.

Happy 2009!! I figures something on the theme of change would be appropriate with the new year. Ghandi was a great man. The world could learn a lot from his teachings and thoughts.

Thanks for the comment on my journal. The costume was way easy. The hardest was making the shield look like the one from the game.. Gatton wouldn't have probably noticed but my "attention to details that don't matter disorder" kicked in ... LOL :)

Just wanted to say Hello, how was NYC? I am so jealous. I have be wanting to go there for a really long time now....
  • Sep 24 2008 7:27 PM

That's a tough question! You can see a lot in 48 hours! Your in Soho so that's a great place to be. I usually have the most fun when I just happen upon a street fair/market. I love eating dinner in Little Italy because it's affordable...of course the Met, Washington Square is a cool place to people watch.
Central Park is amazing, and I have never spent a day there but I would like to! Im jealous, take me with you :)
