Welcome to Pizza King of League City, TX. We pride ourselves in serving the best pizza in town. We transplanted a neighborhood pizza shop that you find in the Northeastern US to League City. This is pizza's roots, small "mom and pop" pizza shops that become part of the community.
My family and I have been in the pizza business since my father, Peter Sr., immigrated to Brooklyn from the Naples region in Italy.
My parents retired to this area, so I decided to bring our pizza to warmer climates. Both of my parents are involved with the day-to-day operations of PIZZA KING. I will also be there everyday to serve you.
Pizza is our family business. My parents opened the shop where I grew up working in Wellsville, New York. My Uncle Bill has a Pizza King in Hornel, New York. A few years ago, my brother Paul took over my parents' shop and my parents moved to League City. When we couldn't find any pizza shops that reminded us of the ones back home, I opened one here.
Why do I say "Break away from the chains"? I want to offer you an alternative from what you are used to. The confusing offers that turn out to be no deal at all, the sub-par quality, the claims of freshness when their recipes involve a box cutter and tap water, and the guy making your pizza at the chain who learned how to make pizza from a video just a few days before.
There are no "secret ingredients" or "secret formulas" here - only dedication to the "old" way of doing things. I make the dough the same way my dad has for over 40 years. I still use the same sauce, from the same tomato growers that my family used before I was born. I use the best ingredients I can find to make your pizza.
The big boys spend more on advertising than on their products. I'd rather spend money on product and rely on your good word to advertise. My pizza is the best you ever had - I guarantee it. I can't wait to have you as a customer.

Thanks for reaching out. I was so happy to see u guys got a myspace. AWESOME! Kinda sucks for me cuz the pizza is not as good up here as the old job is. Are u absolutely sure u can't freeze-dry some and send it up here? I would pay the airfare. Anyway, tell everybody i miss them and hopefully I'll see u all when i come to town. Later ;)
We've been ordering pizza from THE KING all year. It has always been VERY good, but in the last 3 weeks... PERFECTION! Please don't change anything! :)
