O My God
When I look into the future, I am frightened, But why plunge into the future? Only the present moment is precious to me, As the future may never enter my soul at all. It is no longer in my power to change, correct or add to the past; For neither sages nor prophets could do that. And so what the past has embraced I must entrust to God.
O present moment, you belong to me, whole and entire. I desire to use you as best I can. And although I am weak and small, You grant me the grace of Your omnipotence. And so, trusting in Your mercy, I walk through life like a little child, offering You each day this heart Burning with love for Your greater Glory.
About me: I am a mother and a wife. I am married to my hero, David, who is battling with terminal brain cancer known as glioblastoma. God has been so faithful and blessed us so through this rough journey we've been on. Doctors only expected Dave to live a year at most but on January 05, 2008, Dave passed the four year mark! I love to meet fellow cancer survivors and I love to share our story and remind others dealing with cancer, that God is always in control, NOT the cancer.
I sing in a Christian Rock band called Surrender and it has become my passion. I love to sing and I am learning to play the keyboard. I also direct the Choir at my church and I love it. Music is my life!
