Finally got that fucking monkey off my back—oh damn—he's still there!!!
Music
Chemical Brothers—Crystal Method—Fatboy Slim—Timo Maas—Cake—Benny Benassi—She Wants Revenge—Beck—Death Cab For Cutie—Keane—Lady Sovereign—Naomi—Prodigy—New Order—Shiny Toy Guns—Madonna—Oakenfold— and.... Ziggy Marley.
I also love Jazz, especially Miles Davis, Thelonius Monk, Ella Fitzgerald...and I listen to Classical when I write: Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Beethoven and Rimsky–Korsakov.
I guess that makes my musical tastes rather eclectic?
Movies
Movies that resonate long after the end credits for me: Apocalypse Now—37.2 Le Matin—A Zed & Two Noughts—Unbearable Lightness of Being—Little Big Man—Catch 22—Doctor Zhivago—At Play in the Fields of the Lord—Koyaanisqatsi—Jeremiah Johnson—Out of Africa—American Beauty—Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?—Lawrence of Arabia—The Man Who Would be King—Blue Velvet—Resevoir Dogs—Gia—One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest—Heavenly Creatures—The Godfather—The Graduate—Citizen Kane—The Bad Seed.... and probably two dozen more movies I can't think of at the moment
Television
Thank God for DVDs since I don't have cable (long story)! Anyways my favorites are Nip/Tuck, Dexter, Weeds, Dirt, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Battlestar Galactica (which gives me serious nerd cred!)
Books
It probably sounds pretentious, but I love Russian Literature...maybe it's the angst in me. Golden age masters; Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Gogol and Soviet era works by Soltzhenitsyn.
And so much more...
But these days the only thing I have time to read is the magazine I work for....here's the cover for my first cover feature, Sharon Stone....lol...ok, so it's a little shameless promotion, but you would too if you had to overcome the obstacles I did to get here, trust me ;)
About me: Writing new chapter...ok, actually I accidentally erased my about me, d'oh! Will fill in the blanks in a bit after I put my thinking cap on...
Two of my favorite girls...
Meet my girl...she thinks I'm #1, see?
Meet the kids; Tin Tin & Sober Girl
Who I'd like to meet: I'm not really that much of a starfucker...
