Sometimes we chase after our dreams. Other times, our dreams chase after us. Such is the case of the PJ Summers Band. PJ Summers, a happily married, proud father of two, serves as the Worship Pastor at Koke Mill Christian Church in Springfield, IL. However, it became apparent that God has much bigger things in store for PJ and his band, which includes Mike Camerano, Mark Sanders, Braden Blakly, and Nick Idle. After friends entered PJ into a local radio contest that forced him to showcase his talents, PJ quickly won both radio listeners and live audiences over to his smooth vocals that complement the diverse musical abilities of the PJ Summers Band. The guys realized that God had given them potential to be more than just another band lost in the seas of Nashville and the music industry, and as a result signed with RockStock Management to form a team committed to chasing their dreams with reckless abandon. Having already played with the likes of Kutless, Jars of Clay, Avalon, Building 429, and Britt Nicole this summer and currently working on their debut album that is set to release later this year, the PJ Summers Band is well on its way to becoming a household sound wherever music is enjoyed.
I'm in the mood for a van full of musicians, eating pork rinds and drinking Mountain Dews, traveling about 643 miles to play a kick booty show, then spending the night in a flea bag motel , only to get up the next morning to eat cholesterol laden biscuits and gravy, topped off with 3/4 lbs of fatty bacon, and then sleepily to return to a life of normalcy.....looking forward to doing it all again.....Have your people call my people......
P.J. and gang - my family and I went out to dinner in downtown Spfld tonight and walked around. We totally forgot you were playing at Cafe Moxo or we would have stopped in. Duh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
im bummed because i really want to come and see you guys play like your next concert but i will be in DC for the call....idk if you've heard of it but its really cool and we're gonna spend 12hrs of massive fasting and prayer, you should go on thecall. com and check it out anyway, you'll never believe it but im recording a demo c.d.! its pretty crazy

Just wanted to thank you for coming out to the middle of nowhere (also known as Otterville) and playing for us. It meant a lot to us, and I've only heard good things about you all from everyone who helped put the show on. Looking forward to seeing you at Powerlight.
