Place A Pet, a non-profit, no kill animal shelter headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio.
*Please support the animals with a one time donation! Your generosity will help us buy food, supplies, and other needed items this month.

This specializes in rescuing homeless, inner-city animals. Over the past ten years, Place A Pet has found homes to hundreds of dogs, cats and rabbits. All animals available through Place A Pet are spayed and neutered and looking for a good home. Place A Pet spends time getting to know new pet owners as well as the pets it rescues ensuring a good match for both. Unsure about adopting an animal? Try the Foster to Own program, which allows perspective pet owners to try animals for a day, weekend or week in order to assure a good fit for other pets and/or children. Donations of food, blankets, toys, treats, chewies and especially money, are always appreciated. Because we are a no-kill animal shelter, those pets who are harder to place, lovingly called "Misfits" (old, blind, missing a limp, terminally ill, or "crazy") are able to be virtually adopted - providing necessities without having to bring them to your home. These animals also need extra care for vet bills and special diets. Making a donation to Place A Pet ensures that these animals live as long and as happy of a life as possible.
Your donation today helps save an animal tomorrow!!
Who I'd like to meet: Great, new, responsible pet owners!

“...our presence on this planet has a higher calling. That we can through our activism, make light in this world, that we can through our activism, lift up the cause of the humblest beings, that we can through our activism, open up not only our own hearts, but the hearts of people everywhere so that our society can become more compassionate, so that our society can be more loving, so that our society can create policies which are caring for animals.” -Dennis Kucinich
