Placebo Sound was formed in Sendai, Japan when American drummer Matthew Thoren approached Ryo Takesawa and then vocalist Toshiharu Hosotani playing guitar on the street in December 2002. Bassist Yoshi Satake was recruited into their studio sessions the next month and the four wrote songs and played shows around Sendai in 2003 and 2004. The quartet recorded their untitled album in early 2005 featuring the band defining `Space Amusement Park`. Ryo, Yoshi and Matt moved to Tokyo in late 2005 to recruit Alex Martin, an American Japanese flamenco guitar player and vocalist to give the band their current sound. Placebo Sound is currently playing shows and recording and self-producing their second album.

Thanks for the music tips Matt - truth is, I always make a first draft of my songs, but can never be bothered to tidy them up.
Now I have a new PC though - but I've sold my keyboard. Doh!
