Plague Remains

Bio:

Formada em meados de 2004 na cidade de Bauru interior de São Paulo, mas estabilizando sua formação apenas em 2006, a banda em seu inicio era encarada apenas como um hobby por seus integrantes, tocando covers de bandas de Thrash Metal consagradas no cenario mundial como Sepultura, Slayer e Kreator. Antes de se estabilizar como Plague Remains e evoluir para o Death Metal, a banda passou por outros ...nomes, tais como Suicide Note, Evil Rising e Criminal Opposition. Em 2009, já com o nome e genero atuais, a banda entra no processo de composição, deixando de lado os covers e se focando ao máximo em musicas de propria autoria, visando sempre o diferencial, misturando peso com elementos de melodia. Aos poucos, ganhando espaço no cenário da região de Bauru, a banda dividiu palco com Korzus, Torture Squad e God Dethroned (Holanda). Logo no inicio de 2010, o baixista deixa a banda por motivos pessoais. Porem, sem se deixar levar pelo ocorrido, eis que para substituír as 5 cordas, entra Rafael Picello, baixista da cidade vizinha (Jaú), firmando-se até os dias atuais. Guilherme Fainer, baterista da banda de Black Metal da mesma cidade, assume as baquetas no fim do mesmo ano. Atualmente, Plague Remains participou da competição Brazilian Wacken Metal Battle 2011, evento realizado pela revista Roadie Crew. Foram mais de 500 bandas inscritas, dividas por etapas em todo o páis e somente uma represntaria o Brasil na competição mundial durante o Wacken Open Air, na Alemanha. Com toda a dedicação, a banda chegou na final com mais outras 20, tocando assim, na cidade de Varginha, Minas Gerais, no Festival Roça n' Roll 2011. No final de 2011, Roberto Okamura entra na banda. Para o ano de 2012, podem aguardar o 'monstruoso' CD da Plague Remains, intitulado 'Words Of Oppression'. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Formed in mid 2004 in the city of Bauru, São Paulo, but only in stabilizing its formation in 2006, the band at its inception was seen only as a hobby for its members, playing covers of bands of thrash metal on the world stage as a consecrated grave , Slayer and Kreator. Prior to stabilize as Plague Remains and evolve to death metal, the band went by other names such as Suicide Note, Rising Evil and Criminal Opposition. In 2009, now with the current name and gender, the band goes into the writing process, leaving aside the covers and focusing on the most songs of own, always seeking the differential weight mixed with elements of melody. Gradually gaining space in the region of Bauru, the band shared the stage with Korzus, Torture Squad and God Dethroned (Netherlands). Early in 2010, bassist left the band for personal reasons. However, without getting carried away by the event, behold, to replace the 5-string, enter Picello Rafael, bassist for the nearby town (Jau), standing to this day. William Faine, drummer for black metal in the same city, takes the drumsticks at the end of that year. Currently, participated in the competition Plague Brazilian Remains Wacken Metal Battle 2011, an event organized by the magazine Roadie Crew. There were over 500 bands entered, divided in stages throughout the country and only a represnt Brazil in the global competition for Wacken Open Air in Germany. With all the dedication, the band arrived at the other end over 20, playing well in the city of Varginha, Minas Gerais, the Festival Roça n 'Roll 2011. At the end of 2011, Roberto Okamura enters the band. For the year 2012, can wait for the 'monstrous' Plague Remains of the CD, entitled 'Words Of Oppression'.
