Plague Ridden were a Horror Metal band from the UK which was created by Darren (Lead guitar) and Ross (vocals).
The band formed in October 2004 where the rough demo "Amongst the Breathless" was recorded by Ross, Darren, Jason and Ollie. Justin then joined the band November 2004 to complete the full line-up in which the average age of the band members was just 15 years old.

Plague Ridden had their first gig at the Ice Bar in Ipswich on June 6th 2005 which got a very good reviews and a DVD recorded by Dru Watts.
One month later the band played their second gig in Sheffield July 24th 2005 at the Steel City Metal festival.

This then led to various gigs over the UK which included supporting Austrias' brutal Death Metal band Violent Devoties and gained themselfs a good following within the Underground Metal scene.
In this time they also had a live recording of "In the Dark" done to show the improvments they had made to the band in a few short months.

Plague Ridden then recorded their first EP "Emdodiment of Sickness" in May 2006.
This was supported with gigs with Ramesses & Mael Mordha, aswell as headlinng the Witchfinder Festival supported by Evile.

Due to musical differences & dedication levels within the band Plague Ridden decided to split up in December 2006.

Since then...

Darren formed the Black Metal band Eastern Front.
