In 2008 BC, Ptah (Pedro - drums) decided to come back alive and unleashed his fury against the Nile’s tribes.
It is why Ptah decided to create a Deathmetal band influenced by Pharaohs, Ancients Gods, pyramids and Egyptian literature: SEKHMET.
He set himself on the quest to find others disciples to conquer the sands and dunes of Egypt… and the rest of the world!
The ancients Pharaohs Kephren (Keff - bass) and Djoser (Mike - Guitars) were resurrected and joined the Mésektet boat on its way to darkness. But still the band wasn’t complete enough.
Sekhmet needed a singer and another guitar player. So Ptah remembered he could count on his old friends Amon (Brieuc - vocals) and Altaïr (Jerem - guitars) to complete the evil breed.
After the burning up of Boubastis, the loyalty of Djoser declined progressively up to unsatisfy Sekhmet. Before the Goddess unleashed her fury against him, Djoser decided to leave the band and preferred the darkness of his sarcophagus.
To not displease Sekhmet Amon decided to replace Djoser. Amon became the new guitar player and kept his vocals' role.
With the might of Egyptian gods, the fury of eternal winds, Sekhmet is ready to propagate its plagues upon the earth.
