About me:
Plaidstallions.com is a site devoted to both loving and mocking the 1970's through the use of department store catalogs.

Every day on the Blog, we look at all things Orange and Brown, polyester and bell bottomy. We ask questions like "Why do couples dress alike" and "Was a green pants suit ever cool"?

We also take long loving looks at the toys offered in the 1970's such as Mego, GI Joe, Barbie, Easy Bake oven etc. Often also featuring original toy industry ads and catalogs. Spilling into the eighties on occasion.

Darling
As my MySpace friend, I am including you in something exciting--I just won the SILVER SCREEN ACTORS SHOWCASE AWARD from the NEVADA FILM FESTIVAL for my new legit FEATURE FILM! NATASHA KIZMET: THE MOVIE! It has been called BORAT MEETS CANDY and I want your feedback, and the feedback of your MySpace friends! You would be doing me a big favor if you would post this comment so people would know to go the the "My Videos" section of my profile to watch the trailer and the other scenes I have posted. This is my market research as to how well we have done. The film is being shopped as we speak by a major film agent, and we are entering it in Film Festivals! This is exciting, and thanks SO MUCH for your help!!

If you want to help market the film, or get on the list to order the DVD when it comes out at a discount, email me at
natasha.kizmet.the.movie@gmail.com

xoxo
Natasha

Also,my movie features a sequence with a Belly Dancing show that I did under my belly dancing alter ego of Raya--TEMPTATION OF BELLY DANCE. It has been called the most artistic and sensual live belly dance DVD ever!! Please have a look, and visit the DVDs web site!

Cartoons Unsolved Mysteries: He-Man

Through out the 80's and even the 90's there have always been questionable things to happen in cartoons, things that should have been very obvious.. Or things that could never be explained. This is my way of bringing up those topics and maybe getting other friends involved on trying to figure out these mysteries.

Today I center my question on Filmation's "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" series. The Mystery is.. Why hadn't anyone realized that Prince Adam was actually He-man. Same body built same hair style even though he did have a tan and his hair seemed a shade darker. They should have noticed something. It's like the mystery with Clark Kent and super man, slick his hair back add glasses and no one ever seems to notice.

He-man Fans: Who Was Your Favorite Character And Why?

Alright "Masters of the Universe" fans it's time I've asked you this all out important question.. rather it be Villain or Hero..Who's your favorite He-man character? Toy or the cartoon character it matters not.

For me it will always be Stratos..

The leader of a race of Bird People from the land of Avion, Eternians with the power of flight and other bird-like abilities. With his People being close allies of He-Man, Stratos is one of his most trusted warriors. ;)

This week we have the guys from TYRANT VIRUS stop by to answer a typical question you would come to expect from your pals here at Never Buy a Stripper a Drink.  You'll have to listen to find out what it is though.  Also, we discuss the generation gap in cartoons these days and decide exactly which one of us was raised on pussy-willow shit!  PARTY BRIGADE checks in on voice mail, as well as a couple of other excitable friends, and we get some words of encouragement from Laur-Laur.  Yup, just another jam packed fun week for us.
Catch Episode 2.10 - I'M GONNA' MAKE YOU FEEL BEAUTIFUL! here at neverbuyastripperadrink.com or on iTunes.
