Jeff Yette has performed in North Country bands since the late '80s including Straight Line, Thump, 44°N and Jacked. Over the years he has come to know dozens of talented musicians that span virtually every genre. While Plan-b represents a primary line-up of musicians that rehearse and play together on a regular basis, it is not uncommon for Plan-b to call upon other known musicians to fill-in when the occasional scheduling conflict/illness occurs.
Plan-b will also invite known local musicians to join them on stage sitting in for a song or two at area gigs or Plan-b will serve as the backing band for feature musicians such as Phil Hurley who returns to Potsdam during the holidays for what is quickly becoming the infamous “Phil Hurley & Friends” show around Christmas time. Whether it's the primary line-up, or with guest musicians sitting in, you'll guaranteed to have some of the North Country's best talent on stage.
In addition to Phil Hurley (Gigolo Aunts, Stonehoney), Plan-b has shared the stage with Joel & Devin Kelly from (Edison, HighTower) as well as dozens of area musicians including (but not limited to), Todd Travis (Illusion), Bill Hill (Illusion, Son of Hyde), Jason Fregoe (Alter Ego), Dan Kelley (Alter Ego), Jason Russell (Thump, Stereotype, Plan-B, Alter Ego), Ben Todd (6 Foot Midget), and many, many more.
Jeff remains the front man of "Plan-b" and surrounds himself with the best talent available giving the group the ability to cater to virtually any situation. Familiarity with many different genres including Rock, Blues, Country and Alternative with the added benefit of multi-talented musicians who play multiple instruments and ad lead and harmony vocal, creates a dynamic blend of music that is sure to please any crowd. The result is an ever-changing, never stale experience that has been getting rave reviews across the Northern New York.
