Didgeridoo, clarinet, harmonica, percussion: Jeff Kimes- A Gemini of 1982. Graduated from the University of Colorado May 2005 with degrees in Molecular Biology and Japanese and minors in neuroscience and biochemistry. A lifelong and diehard fan of most all music, his taste runs the gamete from Bach to Beck and his style contains influences from disparate world genres; Mid-eastern to Taiko, from Goa Trance to HipHop, from Funk to indigenous tribal music, and a million other sounds from a million other people in million different places. During his tenure in the warehouses of North Boulder, Jeff progressively became more obsessed with the boomshakkathwakkatak of the drums and the power behind the bweeeooooowaaoooouuuthtththththththhtwooooooooouuuuuuuweoweoweow of the didgeridoo. Jeff has lived in Japan and travelled thoughout southeast Asia, but missed his scheduled ship to Antarctica by freak coincidence (or perhaps the intervention of fate...), which left him stranded in Seattle looking for something to do. Not looking forward to the work-eat-sleep-repeat routine, he decided it was about time to give something back to the world of music after taking in so much. In his spare time, he entertains day jobs as a research assistant for a non-profit devolping a tuberculosis vaccine and as consultant for a biotech/med-device startup in SanFransico______________________
Percussion, vocals: A-bro-ham Neuwelt- sprung from the loins of his mother in 79. Born into a musical family, Abe knew his future was in music and soon learned that the timber industry that Idaho had to offer wasnt his bag of potatoes. Since moving to Seattle in 01 Abe has played in many bands gigging throughout the NW and laid down several recordings. A-bro-ham also has an AA from Lewis-Clark State College.____________________________________
7-string violin, keys: Joel Gamble- born 1972 MN. Studied classical music on violin, piano and organ as a child, and diversified into rock and jazz in his high school years. Studied music at the University of Minnesota before moving to Seattle. In Seattle, Joel further diversified his interests while playing in groups of all shapes and sizes. Here he has performed and studied R&B, Celtic, Middle-Eastern, Classical, Jazz, Indian, and other musical forms. The extended lower range of his violin and the ability to run it through multiple effects and signal processing allow him not only to play and compose music that would typically require a wide variety of instrumentation, but also create a wide variety of otherworldly sounds.______________________________
