Imagine you're at a beach party in the 60's and everyone is dancing to some surf band and everyones name is bif and jill. Then suddenly all these crazy party kids get there to crash the party. That's Planet Cock. PC is made up of 2 keyboards, bass, and drums. Only vocals on a couple songs (one of them being "i love rock n roll" by Joan Jett and another they just yell the word "sex" over and over). Each song is pretty much themed to the way its titled(reggae song, scary song, spy song, carabean cruise song, space song, etc.) yet every song sounds like Planet Cock, and no one else. They paint a picture and make you think you are there, but you're dancing regardless of where it is. Elements of surf rock, post rock, and new wave are there the whole time..but Planet Cock is a genre of their own...and you wish they were playing your party.
