Since 1993 Planet Hair has partnered with Positive Directions, Greteman Group, countless hard working volunteers, and many generous sponsors, raising more than $800,000 through their annual ArtAID benefit to help people living in Wichita with HIV and AIDS.
Know as one of the most fun parties of the year, the ArtAID event fuses silent and live art auctions, great food, dancing, and an extravagant runway fashion show put on by the Planet Hair team into an unforgettable evening. Our innovative stylists don’t just follow current trends, they create them. We provide ongoing workshops and classes for our staff from the first day they join our team. To keep our stylists up to date with the latest trends and techniques our team travels all over the country as well as abroad to keep you looking great.
We work with world class products. Our Aveda, Bumble and bumble, Great Lengths, and Young Blood Mineral Cosmetic product lines represent the finest ingredients, product innovation, stylist training, and professionalism we have found for you.
We have a strong commitment to give back to our community through humanitarian involvement. Since we opened, Planet Hair has raised nearly a million dollars through the ArtAID fundraiser for Positive Directions, an organization that helps local people with HIV and AIDS with basic living expenses.
