Shyeah, I love payday. Except I have a severe problem with impulse buying, especially when it comes to movies. I seriously have a problem, but I've yet to hit rock bottom, so I won't stop yet. :D Yay for addictions. lol

thinkgeek. com is awesome. Thanks for showing it to me. Now I have someplace MORE to blow my credits..er..money.
    ;p
  • Jan 7 2009 8:37 AM

Lol. I'm not the biggest drinker myself. In fact, I rarely ever drink, unless it tastes good or I'm just in a very good mood. Little known fact, but I hate the taste of straight alcohol, and most beers are gross to me.. Makes me gag. Which goes strictly against me Irish heritage. And I don't see the point of being stupid for a few hours, then spend the next morning feeling like total ass. But I digress. Still, I REALLY want to try some of those Star Trek drinks, just to say I did.

At the moment, I'm playing around on the computer, when I should be going to bed. I have to get up at seven to be at work by eight thirty. Ugh, I don't wanna. Waah. Oh well, just another day. That, and I'm trying to find another sci-fi or anime store I haven't been to yet that isn't already closed. After work for today, I'm free until at least Saturday. Just trying to find something to do. Plus, I get paid on Friday. Whoo. :]
What about you? Whats new with you, bub?
  • Jan 7 2009 6:57 AM

Yeah, Insurrection was "okay" at best, First Contact was friggin Awesome, and Nemesis was good. Out of the six original films, my favorite battle was between klingon General Chang's cloaked Bird-of-Prey firing stealth missiles at the Enterprize until Kirk finds a way to fight back. I need to finish my collection.

Thats awesome. Can't wait. Well, whenever you want, just get ahold of me. If you can't get them to hang on your schedule, then you can always hang with me in public places. At least that way I can't crack you over the head with a pink flamingo lawn ornament and take your Tribble. ;P lol jk. I only live like a mile away, so just give me a heads up girl. We can paint the town Romulan Ale blue.
    :D

Hey girl. This is just a little question on my part. I've been having trouble with my internet yesterday and early this morning, and I replied to your last comment, but I'm not sure if you got it or not. Did you receive it? If not I can resend it. If so, then just ignore this.
    :]

Hey girl, a laptop's a laptop. All in needs is a few additions, and pow, you've got yourself some pure awesomenessisity. :]

I really love the movies. The list is
    Star Trek: The Motion Picture
Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Kahn
Star Trek 3: The Search for Spock
Star Trek 4: The Journey Home
Star Trek 5: The Final Frontier
Star Trek 6: The Undiscovered Country
    Star Trek Generations
    Star Trek: First Contact
    Star Trek: Insurrection
    Star Trek: Nemesis
Don't get me wrong, I love the shows, and DS9's telling of the Dominion War had some great battles, but the best space battles in the whole series are in the movies. Like Nemesis. Shinzon's Scymitar vs the Enterprise and two Romulan Warbards and it STILL holds its own is just freakin cool. But I really enjoy some fan fiction. Some people do some excellent jobs. There is this finnish guy who made some awesome space battles with his computer.

Yeah, Sk-RY-ed was okay. It's Last Exile that looks good to me. I've only just gotten into it, but so far I'm still a fan. lol. You should give it a shot. It's cool.

I'm glad I'm not being annoying to you. Just want to help. Well, if there is any way we can meet up, that won't get you in trouble of course, then I'm for it. It's just up to you, really. I'll help any way I can. I can be social.
    :]
  • Jan 5 2009 8:09 AM

Thats awesome. What kind is it?

And I actually just want to get a new phone all together. One with some percs that I didn't get with the last one, but you've got a point.

Man, Q, I've been going through a Star Trek binge. Watched every movie from Star Trek: The Motion Picture to Star Trek Nemesis, all just to get myself in the spirit of things...which is unfortunate since the movie is still months away. Oh well, get to watch some pretty cool cinema along the way. Wished I owned some TNG boxsets, but oh well.

Have you ever watched Sc-RY-ed or Last Exile animes? I just got into Exile, and have to say that show is friggine awesome. Sc-RY-ed is like a japanese X-Men. :]

I'm sorry to keep pushing the subject, and I'll stop if you want, but is it because you can't hang with just boys, or would your friends have to be there too? I've been with some girls who's parents were almost nazi strict to girls who's parents didn't give a shit about(which I don't respect at all) so I'm just curious. I don't mean to be all annoying about it. lol. I just want to hang with somebody who likes the same "obscure" things as me. Hard as hell to get some of my friends to anime or sci-fi anything, just cuz its not "the coolest thing" right now, which I disagree, but oh well.
  • Jan 4 2009 9:27 AM

Ha, well I live almost as close to you as I am to the school. :] Thats cool.

Well, fine. If you ever get the chance to hang, that won't be against their orders, then I'm totally game. Until then, I'm a patient guy.

Sorry about your phone. I really need a new one too. Something better. But it sounds like a good day for everybody.
  • Jan 4 2009 6:55 AM

Ha, I live in Grand Prairie, exactly a mile from South(yeah, I'm lame. I measured it), so it's not like I live off in the boonies. I only work in Cedar Hill, which is about fifteen minutes down Beltline from Grand Prairie. I'm pretty close.

I can respect a parents wishes. But if it helps, I can meet them. Lol. All this "trouble", just to hang out. I can show em that I'm a nice person, boy or no boy. :]

And I had a pretty good day. Dropped my mom off at her job(she works at Pet Smart, she's a trainer), then I went to hang with my friend Tim, and got my haircut. Ironically, if I did meet your parents, last week would have been fine. Now, I look like an Irish punk rocker/gangbanger. lol. But I'm a nice guy! Honest. :] Lets see, after that, we ate at Italia Express, and went to Barnes and Noble and Best Buy, but since we're poor at the moment, we just looked sadly. Then I came home and have been messing around with my myspace ever since.

How about you, Q? How was your day? Do anything fun?
  • Jan 3 2009 9:54 AM

Lol, yeah, the man is friggin awesome. When I first saw him from behind, I thought it was Ted Nugent. lol. But man, he was awesome. And Steven Blum, gah, the guy is like the Samuel L. Jackson of voice acting. Now, I all I need to do is meet David Hayter, and my life will be almost complete.

Awww, that sucks. Well, I still live with my mom, but it's not really a big deal with me. You don't have to explain if you don't want to. Its no biggie either way.
Just know, I'm a pretty awesome "boy", don't do drugs, and I very rarely drink(last time I drank, besides new years, was my birthday, 2007), so it's not like I'm a corruptive or destructive influence, if that helps any.
  • Jan 3 2009 8:34 AM

Yeah, I have a deeply psychological hatred for all things involving clothes shopping. Totally burnt out when I was a kid. But for everything else, I'm game.

Anime Fest. Urgh, I am so totally jealous. I went to a sci-fi convention my freshman year, AnimeKon my sophomore, and then nothing. It sucks. Cuz you get to pick up all the cool free give aways and meet voice actors. I got to meet Steven Blum and Scott McNeil, which, OH EM GEE, I totally geeked out. Even the gaggle of Spocks next to me were embarassed for me. lol.

Well, hell girl, I'd hang with you in a second. You sound like someone I wouldn't be immediatly bored with. And who knows, might be able to get you outta your shell. I'm good like that. I have a messload of free time next week too, thanks to my work's inventory the week after, so anytime that YOU want to hang, drop me a line. Besides tuesday and wednesday, I am completely free. Just don't bite, at least anywhere that'd show. :p (sorry, movie reference.
    I'll stop)
  • Jan 3 2009 6:49 AM

You enjoy breathing? Ugh, how taboo. ;P

Now, my love for movies is deeply ingrainded from a very young age, but at least I temper it by being well versed in other subjects so I can hold a conversation beyond "Oooh th3m movi3z rockzorz!!" lol. But I don't judge. *cough cough* =3

I enjoy shopping, as long as clothes, trying on clothes, looking at clothes, and giving insight on clothes never comes into the equation, unless two very key factors are present. I'm either really into you, or it's lengerie or swimsuits. But if it's movies, games, books, figurines, antiques, random interesting odds and ends, then I am so there. I enjoy reading new books, always looking for new items to add to my lists of things I will buy in the near future and marking off things I've already bought, trying out new recipes,(btw, I am a major chef wannabe, and I love cooking meals and stuff that isn't the regular entres you get stuck with everyday), I like to travel even if its just a few towns over or a hundred miles away just to see a store/restautant I've yet to have been in yet all for the experience, I'm always looking for new things to do or try, and keep an eye out for the more magical sides of life. I'm into going to sci-fi/anime conventions and cosplay, unfortunatly haven't had the chance to go in a few years. Always like hanging out, and just having fun. Anything else you'd like to know, feel free to ask. :]

So, how social are you? lol :] Do you hang out much, or is asking an uphill battle? Cuz I know how addicting laziness can be.
    ;P
  • Jan 3 2009 1:44 AM

Lol. Happy place? Funny, mine is a place of sheer flawless technology mixed with the beauty of magic. I call it...Hastings. ;P

We are like total opposites when it comes to movies. I'm the biggest movie buff you'll probably ever meet. From old classics, to newer flicks, I'm a big fan. But there are other things I love to. Books, everywhere from novels to manga, I could always chill with a nice book. Plus, whenever I don't read for a while, my vocab turns to poop.

So, Q, what do you do for fun? Not a movie goer, so what floats your boat, just so I know not to ask about it.
    =3
