Planet of Sound Recording Studios, located at 111 Allyn Street in Hartford has been Connecticut’s premiere recording facility for more than a decade. We've worked with numerous significant acts such as Destiny’s Child, Mike Epps, Dru-Hill, Hoobastank, Nickelback, 10 Years, Finger Eleven, Filter, Tantric, The Pixies, Brett Michaels/Poison, Sebastian Bach, Alterbridge, and many more. We specialize in recording, mixing, mastering, analyzing audio, voiceovers, and handling audio for film. We've done voiceovers for MTV as well as regular shows in partnership with WCCC 106.9. These well-attended and highly acclaimed shows are broadcast live from Planet of Sound Recording Studios right in the heart of downtown Hartford. Our facility is very spacious, encompassing two floors with two fully-equipped studios. Our main studio, Studio A, is outfitted with brand new state-of –the- art equipment with plenty of space for bands, great acoustics, and in-house DW drums. Studio B is also equipped with brand new equipment, including a 4"4 vocal booth. This studio is mainly designated for producing and is rented out for half the price of Studio A. Our skilled engineers and producers have the experience and expertise to handle all genres of music - from Rock to hip-hop or R&B and Classical.
