關於 Planivaar

Planivaar began in 2005 as the side project of visual artist Mark Lippett. Early recordings largely consisted of samples taken from old cassette recordings, which were then manipulated and mixed with ambient noise and guitar. Since then the guitar and keyboard have taken a more prominent role although samples are still used to enhance the sound. No attempt is made to fit in with a particular genre or trend and any similarity with any other music is purely coincidental.

Split Femur Recordings	2008/4/14 08:21 Navidson Record- 'This Is Not For You' Joe Morris named his musical alias after the Mark Z. Danielewski novel, and manages to capture the emotional content of the book in this beautifully quiet, yet breathtaking debut. The album ranges from ambient electronica, to gentle post-rock with a few unexpected twists and turns along the way. Think Susumu Yokota ina particularly solemn mood, but that's not to say this album is at all depressing. At times it's highly affirming and wonderfully charming.
