Sanger spent the last 30 years of her life in Tucson, and opened Arizona's first Planned Parenthood there in 1934.

    About this page:
    I have been very active in Domestic Violence causes all of my adult life. I noticed a need in the world pertaining to Same Sex Domestic Violence. It happens more than people know. Unfortunately there are a number of gay people who barely consider themselves worthy or valued as a gay person much less a Domestic Violence Victim. There are also very limited resources, statistics, or information, for Same Sex Domestic Violence. Hopefully through empowerment and education we can change some of this. :D

    Thank you for your comment. I am glad you find Alice Miller’s article an eye opener. It’s so hard to witness the emotional blindness of the anti-choice movement.

    I have tried to contact the media many times to share my experiences and discoveries, but it seems the media is not interested in enlightening the public and only gives a voice to hypocrites with misleading information and people living in the dark; very sad to witness.

    FYI - Wednesday, December 10th, is International Human Rights Day.

    If you would like to protest the gay marriage ban laws that have passed in a few states now (including my home state of Arizona, I’m ashamed to say), here’s what you can do:

    White Knot Day - wear a tied white knot in support of the idea that everyone should have equal freedom to “tie the knot”. For more info on this, go to: www. whiteknot. org.

I moved here as a single woman and owned my own place, so I know the importance of this kind of freedom and independence. Single women are a huge percentage of homebuyers in the US - twice as many single women are buying homes than unmarried men! Yay for us!
