While there were many anti-choice attacks and misleading pieces of legislation, one thing is clear: it was the hard work of our activists and supporters that sent a clear message to Florida lawmakers – women’s health and safety matters!
We wanted to share with you the results of this legislative session and how your elected officials voted. Please make sure you take a few minutes to let your legislators know how you feel about their votes.

Three and a half million Planned Parenthood activists and supporters also serve as advocates for sexual and reproductive rights.
In Florida, Planned Parenthood operates 27 health centers and provides a full range of health services to nearly 100,000 patients each year including; sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment, HIV testing, cancer screenings, pap smears, birth control counseling and provision, abortion services, and options counseling.

Who I'd like to meet: Women and men who are interested in receiving and/or protecting reproductive rights and ensuring that all Floridians have access to affordable sexual heath care and family planning services. Pro-choice activists, students interested in social/economic justice, pharmarcists that are ethical and provide all forms of birth control, teachers who know that sex education needs to be comprehensive and understands that it is unethical to withhold potentially life saving knowledge to Florida's teens. Women, and men who are not afraid to stand up and speak out!
