About me:
This fall, "Diptych," a new play by Sara Faith Alterman and David Mogolov, directed by Steve Kleinedler, with music by Dan Alterman, will be debuting at the Elizabeth Peabody House in Somerville for 9 performances.
--------------
About Diptych:
Diptych embodies two intertwining stories: one of righteous anger, hilariously swallowed, the other of appalling laziness, unexpectedly thwarted. Diptych unites two accomplished storytellers who have crafted profoundly different, yet serendipitously connected tales springing from a common theme.
For those of you familiar with the works of David Mogolov and Sara Faith Alterman, you know that they're original, energetic storytellers. Steve has directed several of David's one-man shows at ImprovBoston, and Sara is not only ImprovBoston's head writer, but is also an established author and journalist. Together they have created a production that showcases David and Sara's strength in storytelling, blending two narratives into a compelling, exciting evening of theatre, embellished by the music of Dan Alterman, with stage management by Joe Creedon and set design by Chris Plummer.
Diptych contains adult themes and language and may be unsuitable for children under 16.
The production dates are: Thursday Sept 27, Friday Sept 28, Saturday Sept 29, Sun Sept 30 (matinee), Friday Oct 5, Sat Oct 6, Sun Oct 7 (matinee), Fri Oct 12, and Sat Oct 13.
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shows at 8PM, are $15
Sunday shows at 3PM, are $12
