PLASTER
review in The Seattle Sinner ( July 2008 ) Vol 6 Issue 67. "The band ripped through songs off their upcoming new album and played one of my old favorites, “One Life” and finished off the set with a Black Sabbath number. The crowd was really into it."

Biography:
With a Deafening Roar, PLASTER debuted in 2004 with a focused intensity that moves people. Literally moves them, as they retreat about 5 feet from the tsunami of volume. PLASTER has since turned down. Just a little.
A quartet of hardened rock veterans, PLASTER doesn't take much lightly. Exceptionally heavy and dark, PLASTER cues up right behind Kyuss, Quicksand and Black Sabbath. The mood isn't entirely malevolent, with barbed hooks to snag and calculated irony to intrigue.
PLASTER started forming in late 2003 as Todd Ohashi's The RC5 took its last bow, and Peter Litwin decided to rejoin the musical rat race after a hiatus, and the pair set off to recruit like-minded hard & heavy rock talent. Blessed by the almost miraculous appearance of a basically unknown drummer, Jason Bordeaux, the line-up was complete when Chico King's Flamethrower called it quits, and he joined the band.
Last summer Chico moved on, Jason switched to Bass guitar, and Dana Sims joined the band.
Out of the dust of some of Seattle's finest punk rock offerings came PLASTER in January 2004, hardening to rock solid at the Crocodile Café in March 2004.
PLASTER has played with many great bands since our inception including: Godsmack, Ill Nino, Monster Magnet, Rob Zombie, Drowning Pool, Shinedown, Jucifier, Valient Thorr, Early Man, Unsane, 3 Inches of Blood, Toxic Holocaust, HIMSA, Big Business, Akimbo, Nebula, Bongzilla, ZEKE, Dr. Know, Royal Trux, The Golden Gods, Artimus Piledriver, Opiates For The Masses, Book of Black Earth and others.
