Plastic Apartment was formed in October of 2007 by four Iowa State students looking to spice up the live music scene in Ames, Iowa. Starting with a simple formula of energy, excitement, and songs that the audience know and love, the four began to pick up steam playing at different bars in Cyclone Country. Helping to build a name for themselves, Plastic Apartment played at a number of different charity events and university socials.
Recently, Plastic Apartment has been leaving their stomping grounds and getting out to see the rest of Iowa. Playing in Cedar Falls, Des Moines, Iowa City, and a casino or two around the state has been a blast! However, the four never forget about their hometown fans, and play every Thursday night at Cy's Roost in Ames, as well as a number of other bars around town. If you haven't seen the best show in Iowa, well, you're missing out!
