" Looking for gallery or show space to rent in Albuquerque? Contact me. I can point you to an excellent, professional venue here in town that's still taking bookings for 2012-2013."

I'm also deeply interested in the arts, music, and enriching spiritual paths (like Taoism, Buddhism, earth religions, Hinduism, Wicca, et al), as well as world mythology, cultural deities, modernist poetry, history, foodways, medieval recipes. I also love video games, fantasy art, Chinese & Japanese culture, learning languages, European history, role playing games, outsider art, clubbing, weird fashion, etc.

About me:I'm a professional artist and writer, living in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
I originally majored in English (UC Berkeley) and went back to collect another Bachelor's Degree, this time a BFA in Fine Art (possibly double majoring in Asian Studies), with intent to pursue an MFA. So, I guess you could say I enjoy collecting degrees. Yep.
I also teach art, Eastern philosophy & Eastern religion courses through the University of New Mexico C. E. Department.
I also do illustration work for magazines and books. My most recent publication is "Thumbing Through Thorea," available on Amazon.com. I co-illustrated this text.
I've been painting and sketching for over 20 years.
Chinese brush painting is part of my daily meditation. I take each stroke, each layer, and each subject seriously. Yet, in all that heaviness, there’s something wonderfully humorous. The lighthearted balances the grave. Such is the harmony of life.
