Miller - Talking Too Much Peter - Yes, that's the man who took my eyes. Josh - Backup Vox/ Lead Guitar Sketch - Drums Bob - Guttural Force/Turning On The Sex
Plastilux? That is the question. What the hell is it? Just who are those dashing men in suits, their sparklified ties waving in the wind while they hop the last Mag-Lev train to Mars, all the while barely slipping through the fingers of the ever present outback intergalactic law authority. We are a collective of beat-smiths, lyricists, musicians, and mutants. Hey, take a closer look: constructing this beast you'll find goons from a gumbo of backgrounds come together under this moniker to destroy what the status quo ante determine to be rational sound waves.
Miller Hooks fronts the band with sputtery nerdcore rap styles. With a history of electronic noise entanglement and a passion for distorted 60Hz sine waves, he has refined the art of talking shit with surgical precision. Deftly executing slurred verbs and serving topics ranging from chemical life enhancement to satirical parody of your wretched human existence.
Peter Hinson packs the tech. A computer programmer, DJ, and photographer by trade, he brings the science, pushing the digital to analog with the greatest of ease. While primarily rocking the Macintosh and turntables, he'll also be found in the studio delegating production and recording. The electronic backbone of the group, he excretes style with every gesture.
Josh "Boomer" Bragg comes from a strong indie-rock background. Frontman and guitarist for Revenge of Me, he has found a new home with Plastilux. He pours soulful and reckless backup vocals and a more analog touch to the mix via his six strings of pleasure.
B0b 0rem brings the guttural force without mercy. In charge of all that is under his domain of BASS. He brings the flavor of his experience as a metal bass guitarist to the group, and does it tastes sweet. His undying love for speedcore and gabberhaus run through his fingers and to your ears, now you must deal with the power trapped in his axe.
Sketch... The rock solid backbone of the beat. Much like an nuclear metronome on steroids, he hits the rhythm with a precise fury. With a lineage backing up funk groups like D Street his consistent flair for the funky brings the whole package home with gusto.
That's the story. Chuck D. told us to "Bring the Noise," so here it is. Someone best notify the space cops before we bust out of this one horse town.
I'm so fucking stoked about the show, I bought a pretty new dress and shoes just for the occasion. Lucky for you guys, I don't have to go back to work until the 20th so I'm moving in for a week. Are you guys super duper excited, cuz I am??!!Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew!!!
At first I thought "what shitty band is trying to whore themselves on myspace now?", but then I realized the shitty band was made of friends and someone would noticed if I denied you.
