i don't like mushrooms, overly airy whipped creme, and an abundance of ricotta cheese on pasta...asides from that and the smell of low tide, Im pretty much game for anything.
I am quite fond of old and foreign movies, photography, creative writing, local adventures, typography, wiring drum machine to 4 track and connectors to other instruments, and learning about things I don't know about.
Music
is something magical that resonates the same to certain people, joins many to the masses, appeals to most, and is known by all. to me its poetic and profound. but it is but one thing alongside a few others that define me.
(and i do love a good mocking every now and then)
Movies
French (New wave, Silent, 50's Noir), 60s Italian, Golden/Silent Hollywood, Eastern European of current. Grainy and artsy shtuff.

Heroes

Caught between reality and dreamscapes. Always looking to shoot from the hip, produce on the fly and avoid bullshit and drama. I like folks who care about making themselves better and dislike those who are inconsiderate to the abstract thinkers of the world. Do you see music more than you hear it? Are children's thoughts juvenile or truthful? Do you like cookies? You'd better!
Who I'd like to meet:
..
People who feel warmed by what gives me comfort...by things like this.
Yeah, it was nice to finally meet you! The show was really good, too bad you had to leave early... The coldwave blog that I was thinking about was Dreams and Voices, at http://dreamsandvoices. blogspot. com/
that's mr. travis bean--i'm SURE i told you about that bass, no? you may be able to see it action on your visit actually--we have a show on the 20th.... yay!! can't wait to see you!
THE GOOD: Meshuggah played before them, and it was all I'd hoped for. Great metal band. Also, Burton Bell (from Fear Factory) did vocals on a short set of older Ministry songs.
BAD: Ministry performed almost all newer stuff. All of the anti-Dubya stuff. While I like a lot of it, I was disappointed. 2nd set was way too short. 3rd set was all new songs off their weird cover album that just came out.
I'm betting the show tonight will be better. Oh well!
What are you talking about you spaz! hahahahaha. UGH. I'm super tired and not feeling so well today. Entertain me clown! :) How are you? What are you doing. How have you been? Tell me what's going on over there on the west coast.
I remember reading an article you wrote about Fra Lippo Lippi somewhere on the Web. And, I agree so much with you about how a treasure/gift/"present of stability" this music is. This "re-assurance" and this feeling of beeing alone and not beeing alone at the same time ;)
