Tony Mantor, CEO and Executive Producer at Plateau Music went to Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass.
Tony toured the rock’ roll circuit as a singer/songwriter, and bandleader. He visited Nashville with some friends in 1977. A short time later, Tony became band leader and keyboardist for Ronnie McDowell. After leaving McDowell, Tony began making inroads to the Nashville recording industry. He traveled to Nashville for several years performing and doing studio work until he decided to make the move and start Plateau Music, a Nashville recording studio and record label. Observing the Nashville Music Scene, Tony decided to make Nashville his home. He then had the opportunity to work along side many successful industry veterans that allowed him to learn the business and how it functions.
During this Journeyman phase in Music City, Tony developed strong contacts within the A&R, Publishing, Production, and Promotion communities. He still maintains personal ties with his mentors, producers that helped shape the last 30 years of music. With Plateau Music formed, Tony deals directly with the major industry players, not only in Nashville, but L. A. and New York as well.
All of these resources come to bear when Plateau Music takes on a new client. Plateau has tough criteria and standards. Only a few singers qualify per year. New artists must be ready for lots of reality and hard work in attaining their goals. What‘s important is the quality, not the quantity, of artists. Tony will tell an artist what he/she needs to hear not what they want to hear. He has gained respect of the industry professionals by adhering to these standards. His business is a model on hard work and world- class quality.
Tony wants you to be excited about your chosen career and realistic in your goals. He draws on his extensive background to teach artists a real understanding of the business, their careers and, ultimately themselves. In this way the artist is able to make decisions based on fact not hearsay or emotions.

Everything first begins with a thought or an idea which we begin to entertain and give place to in our mind. That thought then begins to take form and shapes the words we speak...our words in turn effect our actions...and ultimately, our actions will shape our destiny. Learning to control one's thoughts therefore, is an essential ingredient to living a victorious life. Your Friend Rhonda Kaye
