The Platinum Playboys started in Champaign, IL where they met while attending the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. While there, 3 albums were produced: Platinum Playboys-So Hot, $conartist-Art of the Scon, and Tru Heat:It's So Summer, in which Dj Codeman was the primary producer. Since then, Codeman has moved to Gainesville, FL to pursue his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering. DJ Codeman has been an official DJ Mixer on Magic 101.3 since December of 08..... you can listen to him mixing daily from 5-6 pm or 10-midnight!
