Platinum Theater began as a rock band based out of Mediapolis, Iowa writing and playing original songs. Formerly known as Refuse 2 Comply, the band changed its name and direction somewhat when Mike Jacobs came on board as vocalist. His abilities enabled PT to perform a wide variety of rock covers as the band was itching to get out and play local venues in a live setting. Now armed with more than a four hour arsenal of rock favorites as well as originals, PT has been rocking the southeast Iowa area for nearly two years. They invite you to come check out as many shows as possible as the band constantly works to add new songs to their ever growing set list. They have an "unofficial" three song demo available to anyone that asks, just get ahold of a band member and they'll get you a copy asap. Work on the long awaited cd will begin as soon as the busy winter show season is over. Updates will be coming shortly so check back here often. 2 things to tell you!!! 1) i have pics up from friday nite! i had a great time p.s. !!! & 2) my fam & i just realized that may 16th is the next time you guys are at the wheel & guess what! that's the nite of my dad's graduation party!!! we are all way excited!!! i told him that you were there may 16th, and he was like that's my grad party nite!!! and he's super excited that you guys are there, he had a great time too!!! we can't wait!!!
